HOW OUR PROGRAM WORKS
Our Esthetician Certification Program is a 42 week (24 hours weekly) totaling to 1000-clocked hours and credits through a hands-on practical hybrid course. This combination of online and on-campus learning offers flexibility and high-quality education that sets you up for a realistic success plan. With 8 hours weekly in online learning and 16 hours weekly on campus for field trips, guest speaker presentations, hands-on services, assessments, and more, you will quickly attain the skills you need as an esthetician. We offer both day and weekend options for all three levels of training.
The primary purpose of our Esthetician Certification Program is to learn the foundations and fundamentals of esthetics, and prepare to successfully pass Georgia State Boards and become a licensed esthetician. Upon completion of our 10-month program, the following certifications will be awarded at the graduation ceremony:
Esthetician Certification (Prerequisite for State Board Licensing)
Microdermabrasion Diamond & Crystal Certification
Electrotherapy Certification

Makeup Artist Certification
Level 1: Foundations
Lay the groundwork for your career with our foundational course, covering essential topics such as professional image, anatomy, infection control, and more. This level includes practical credits in makeup application, basic facials, body treatments, and lash and brow services.
Taking you from 0-350 hours of experience over 16 weeks using the Milady Foundation & Fundamental Book and Cengage Online Ebook. 250 theory hours and 50 business hours will take you through the first 10 chapters:
Chapter 1: Life Skills + Career Opportunities, Chapter 2: Professional Image + Anatomy, Chapter 3: Communication + Histology of the Skin, Chapter 4: The Healthy Professional, Chapter 5: Infection Control, Chapter 6: Chemistry & Chemical Safety, Chapter 7: Electricity & Electrical Safety, Chapter 8: Career Planning, Chapter 9 Facial Massage + On the Job, Chapter 10: The Beauty Business.
This course also includes 50 practical credits: 25 State Board Makeup Application Credits, 5 Basic Facial credits, 25 Body credits (Eye, Lips, Hand & Foot Treatments, Back Facials, Face & Body Dry Brushing), 20 Lash & Brow Tint, and Band/Cluster lash applications.
Level 2: Fundamentals
Dive deeper into the science and management aspects of esthetics with our fundamentals course. From skin analysis to spa management and social media marketing, this level prepares you for the challenges of the industry. Practical/clinical credits include makeup applications, spa facials, body treatments, and spa management.
Moving from 350 to 650 hours of experience over 11 weeks using the same curriculum, you will acquire 320 science hours and 30 spa management hours covering the following material:
Chapter 4: Diseases + Disorders, Chapter 5: Skin Analysis, Chapter 6: Product Selection & Cosmetic Chemistry, Chapter 7: Treatment Room, Chapter 8: Facial Treatments, Chapter 10: Devices & Technology, Chapter 11: Hair Removal, Chapter 12: Makeup, Chapter 13: Advanced Topics. Spa management, inventory control, photoshoot projects, brand building, and social media marketing.
This course also includes 125 practical/clinical credits in the following areas: 30 makeup applications, 25 spa facials, 10 machine facials, 10 body wraps, 10 cellulite treatments, and 20 spa management credits.
Level 3: Professionals
Elevate your skills to the next level with advanced esthetics training. Explore topics such as advanced facial massage, hair removal, makeup techniques, and holistic skincare. Practical credits include machine facials, hair removals, aromatherapy, reflexology, makeup applications, and more.
The final level of esthetician training is a 15-week program that provides 50 hours of advanced esthetics and state board preparation, including a mock state board practical. The following information will be studied in class:
Chapter 4: Hormones, Chapter 17: Advanced Facial Massage, Chapter 19: Advanced Hair Removal, Chapter 20: Makeup, Chapter 22: Contemporary Wellness, Chapter 28: Pre- & Post-Medical Esthetics, Chapter 24: Working in the Medical Setting, Lash Lift Kit, Lash Extension Kit, Theory & Kit, Brazilian wax, chemical peel theory, holistic skincare theory.
Includes 120 practical credits in the following areas: 20 machine facials, 25 spa facials, 20 hair removals, 10 aromatherapy, 10 reflexology, 5 body wraps, 30 makeup applications (Color, Contour, Camouflage), and cellulite treatments.
