Tiera Armour

While studying to become an esthetician, Tiera had the pleasure of being a student in Liz's Level 2 class. From there a unique bond was created that has helped take her career even further in the past 6 years.

“I like to think of Mrs. Liz as my fairy godmother of the skin care world. She has always been a call or class away, and my clients absolutely love the new knowledge and skills that I am able to perform after our sessions."

In addition to being a business owner, Ms. Armour also takes pleasure in participating in various community outreach programs and serves as a mentor to inner-city students looking for opportunities to learn essential life skills that go beyond the classroom. She has now returned to the St. John Institute as a faculty member, serving as the Fundamentals Clinic Floor Manager."

Taylor Ostien

A talented makeup artist, Taylor is passionate about helping people feel healthy and beautiful. After studying with Liz, she is now a budding oncology esthetician, using her gifts and education to empower people fighting a life-altering battle.

“My name is Taylor Ostien, and I am a budding skincare specialist. I say that instead of just 'Licensed Esthetician' because I am planning on educating myself in all aspects of the industry. I plan on practicing everything from holistic, to medical skincare and anything in between. I’m a licensed esthetician, nationally certified phlebotomist, laser technician, and am planning on getting many other certifications and licenses.

My next endeavor will be getting certified in oncology esthetics, in honor of some of my family and friends who have battled cancer. Eventually I plan on opening my own spa that will offer everything from holistic to medical services. I am also a makeup artist doing everything from glamor to special effects. Honestly I'm just someone in love with this industry, who will never stop learning, growing myself and my skill set."
